Leather pouch for Swiss Army knife

This is a replacement for a previous case and knife that was stolen from me. The case and its steel for sharpening the knives is very handy. case is very durable. The leather is cowhide; the stitching on the belt holder is in three rows. I used my previous case and knife for years and anticipate that this one will serve as well. I learned from previous experience to condition the leather with an insert of a piece of wood carved in the shape of the knife. It keeps the leather from shrinking when it inevitably gets wet and making the case too snug for the knife.
A must have for a Swiss Army Knife

Would have gotten five stars but the point where the sharpener is adjacent to the flap wore away and now I worry about losing the sharpener (which works excellently). Classic look, decent quality. Have had it for years.

This case does not really fit a SAK Champ, but other than that, it seems to be of good quality. I've only had it for two days, and I hope it will stand up to the test of time. The sharpener is a mini version of a kitchen knife sharpener with the vertical grooves engraved on a metal shaft. Good quality sharpener, good quality case, I just wish it fit my SAK Champ a little better... (it will squeeze in and out of there, but it's definitely not a relaxed fit)... [buy it]

As shown above this pouch should come with a steel. Only the pouch itself came. When I contacted the saler they told me to keep the pouch and they refunded my money. So it is 4 stars because it was FREE!
